For updating to version 1.4.2 using MMC/PMC, download the new v1.4.2 SE .zip. Once you've imported it into MMC/PMC, optionally copy over from the version 1.3.0 SE instance:

... To keep most of your settings, your screenshots, map, and REI bookmarks.

FTB 'exclusive'. You can use PolyMC for example to download the pack or the FTB App. Or download the SE version .zip provided for MultiMC.
The 'ExtraMods.zip' contains some performance mods you can add to your SB3 instance of choice. It is already included in the MultiMC FTB StoneBlock 3 1.3.0 SE.zip.

Go to Settings -> MultiMC -> Update Channel -> Select Development -> Restart MMC.
You can add an instance downloading the modpack and using "Add Instance" -> "Import from zip". It may take a while to import.
